It's Hunger Awareness Week, and the sentiment outside on our highway sign seems so obvious, but still these things are out of reach for far too many. 4 million Canadians have trouble putting food on the table. At least 44,000 Nova Scotians accessed assistance from a food bank in 2016. We can't accept this as the status quo. We need to be better.

What we offer:
Needles, syringes, sterile water, cookers, matches, filters, ties, condoms, safer use kits, safe disposal of used needles.
Outreach, wareness and education related to harm reduction, particularly safer injection and safer practices.
Peer support, including assistance with exploring and accessing detox, treatment, methadone.
Assistance in locating and navigating resources for legal, social services, employment and housing issues.
Over the counter nutrition as available.
